If you have ever owned a Roomba before you will know what to expect. You will need the virtual wall to keep it from desperately attacking your carpet and getting stuck, which is a bummer, I was hoping it would just know not to assault the carpet. It certainly does clean, clear water went in and very dirty water went down the sink. It can do 2 rooms with a single charge, my kitchen is about 60 square feet. My bathrooms are about 40 square feet. as long as your rooms are under 150 square feet this works excellently.I've only had mine for a few days but the floors are shiny and sterile, that is with twin boys potty training. I keep it loaded with fluid and charged for my wife to toss in any bathroom it is needed as soon as it is needed, she loves it. I would have given 5 stars if: 1. faster recharge, 2. didn't need the virtual wall to keep it off carpets. Other than this, cleaned floor well. I do recommend sweeping the floor since the 230 IS NOT a vacuum. After the cleaning, the floor felt clean to my touch, but I decided to check by hand mopping it with a microfiber cloth. The cloth came away very clean. Mind you I have usually mopped floors once a week so my floor was fairly clean.
